Bella Levy, your most recent finished series is Colors of Passion. Can you talk about the story? Also, what platforms can people view your film online?
Colors Of passion was a unique project where it was a voice over set to modern animation. It was really fun to do. I’ve never seen myself as an animated character. I always love to challenge myself, step outside of my comfort zone. That’s where true growth really happens. Recently I took part in “Celebrity Boxing” where I had the opportunity to once again venture into new territory and I sparred for awareness and as I like to say “I fight for those who DONT have a choice or a voice” against human trafficking. I started my own 501 c 3 non-profit organizations and created the Blue Ribbon project.
Bella Levy, everyone has a story to tell. What one story do you wish everyone knew about you?
I’ve always wanted a better world, a better kinder, gentler culture and community for all of humanity. I always lead with kindness, gratitude and compassion. A natural empathy made healthcare an easy career. Taking care of people and being there when someone is faced with changes of trauma or an illness really makes me happy. The simple act of “just being there”, I find rewarding. We, as people, need to love each other more. Life is hard enough. We need to set aside our petty differences and embrace each other as human beings. We are all capable of love, kindness, and compassion. We need to pay it forward and try to brighten each day more with a smile, a hug from a friend, or just doing the right thing and helping one another. At the end of the day, it’s how we make others feel that’s important, not all the materialistic things. I call that my “paycheck of the heart”
Bella Levy, you are releasing Return of Jade Brooks soon. Can you talk about the series and provide links to it? I was recently cast in dramatic true crime show, very excited about this new genre and will keep you posted for sure.
Bella Levy, what book or movies have you been reading or watching. Meaning I am using this interview to find new books or films to watch. What have you been doing? Oh my…. I can’t remember the last time I actually had time to watch a movie. I’m always so busy. I work nights at the hospital, take calls during the day. My son plays football and baseball and my daughter volleyball. That keeps me pretty busy, and I always try to find ways to continue growing the Bella Levy Foundation. You can view all that I’m doing with my foundation on my professional website Bellalevy.org
Bella Levy, can you talk about your other work in production? Are you planning to try any film festivals or are they going to be directly released?
I was actually asked to co-host a film festival here in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) in the spring. I’m very excited about this opportunity as it’s a way to showcase the many talented individuals in our industry.
Bella Levy, what are you doing to relieve stress during this time of home lockdown? Well, I’ve been on the front lines since day 1, but I try to take walks, exercise, and stay active as a way to keep healthy and it’s also a great way to stay in shape and I find that working out is a great way for the endorphins release. Dreams: what project or script or actor or actress would be a dream for you to get to work with?
I would love to one day be able to meet or work with Barbara Streisand, Fran Drescher and of course the amazing Lady Ga Ga. They are all pioneers, strong women and have influenced culture and generational outlooks and changes.
Bella Levy, the classic question: what charity do you work with and can you provide a link to it so others can see too please?
I have started my own nonprofit. Bellalevy.org, I work closely with a local woman’s shelter and frequently make visits there to speak with the residents and during the holidays I help with activities that are provided for them. Each one of those women has a story, each one has something to contribute to our world, and each one of those woman matters. They are my sisters and I will never forget them. Some of their stories are an example of courage during a helpless time. Those women (and children) have seen and experienced things that no one should ever go through alone…. They aren’t alone anymore. I work with them, encourage them and, most importantly, I validate them. Although they may have gone through a broken situation, they are not a broken person. They matter and, through kindness, anything is possible. It’s what separates us from animals, our kindness and compassion.
A final question. What question do you wish I had asked? And what would the answer be?
As a beauty queen, what’s your definition of Beauty? My definition of beauty is courage!! The courage that it takes to do the right thing, the courage that it takes to pave your own way, as supposed to following the masses, the courage that it takes to be unique, be yourself and courage that it takes to make a difference and love humanity. The courage that it takes to speak up, stand up for what you believe in and lead by example…. That to me is real beauty!! My foundation has T-shirts, and the slogan on the back reads “champions of humanity”, that’s exactly what that represents. https://www.minds.com/Talon123/blog/interviews-with-an-infamous-clinton-r-siegle-1140340962022912000
