Is this your happy unbirthday too?  A song.

Prayer:
Write your politician. Maybe they do not know you exist.

The concept is to show change 1 percent in as many small ways as possible.

Scientific studies have shown that we can have an impact on our happiness by adjusting the tiny little habits and routines that constitute our daily lives—we are, in fact, in control of our outlook on life. It’s amazing how a few tweaks to our daily habits can become a catalyst for meaningful, positive change.

1. A simple action of making your bed sets you up for the day. The list of 8 ideas should only takes 2 minutes meaning if we can improve just 2 minutes maybe we can change the world.

2. Bringing every room back to 'ready' is another action that takes you no time. You can 'tidy' your workspace -close your laptop, arrange your documents, wash your coffee mug when ending the work day. This way your workspace is ready for a new day.

3. Start a one line gratitude journal. Before bed, simply jot down one happy memory from that day. If you have kids, you can get them involved too. Reflection is an important part of happiness, and pausing to reflect on a positive event from each day cultivates gratitude.

4. Before getting up each morning, set an intent for the day.
It can be as simple as "be productive" or "enjoy today’s delicious moments" but it should not be another "to do" item on your list.

Quick ways to improve your attitude:
5. Smile- 30 seconds proven to help improve your attitude.  Do it right in the morning.
6. Hug someone for 20 seconds brings up something in your mind that changes your outlook on reality for the positive.
7. Twist each finger for the count of 5.  It relaxes you.
8. During the day say Thank you four times a day. That night write down what you were thankful for that day.
Something more than 2 minutes---
